Ideas for a Celtic knot

Colours shown are indicative only -- the actual glass will be much more vibrant. Some of it will probably be textured, "hammered" is the way they describe the marks.          

Idea generation

Option 1 -- use a "standard" celtic knot from Aidan Meehan's book Celtic Design. I like no. 49. This is probably the quickest & most straightforward approach.  It's a bit unusual but obviously not a unique design.Option 2 - a knot made from an S. These are some preliminary sketches to see if it was doable. I'm iffy about it. The one with the sharper angles, above the pink one, is probably the most successful. If you prefer one of these, I'm happy to go ahead and do a proper design for it.
